Day #1: Barbie Orgies, Fresh Margs, King-sized Adventures (NYC)

Today marked the official beginning of my trip. The alarm went off at 5:00AM, and after less than three hours of sleep I did my best to get excited and convince myself that the duffel I packed the night before wasn't, in fact, heavier than a golden retriever. No such luck.

After a 5 hour bus ride and tons of traffic I was back in NYC! So nice to be here and to be reunited with my friend/former roommate Sophia!! After getting to spend some time with her fam at their new house we got settled in the UWS and, of course, our primary focus was food. Makes total sense that we're friends, right?! Some groceries, some Chipotle burritos, some vegan marshmallows, and dead people cookies made up the rest of the night. Throw in a practically mandatory viewing of Scream 4 and there was our night.

It feels great to be back in the city again. For now, sleep awaits. THANK GOODNESS.
