Day #23 & Day #24: Prison Bitches, Fat Amy, and AIM memories (NC)

Alright, so I wasn't in the bloggy mood last night so here's a two-fer:

Yesterday Carra and I headed over to the mall in the morning, where we stalked The Sunglass Hut until we determined that it wasn't going to open. Even though it was supposed to be open at 10M. We did give dirty looks to the salesperson through the gate on the door though. Then we did some shopping and grabbed some
Starbucks, where Carra received a normal cup and I received a Christmas cup. Ridiculous. It's like they know.

Then we came home and hung around until Carra went to work. While she was gone Alex and I watched Wanderlust and 21 Jump Street, so I guess I got my fill of comedies haha.

Once Carra got home we stumbled upon an awesome show on Discovery Health - "Secretly Pregnant!" We instantly ate this shit up. Makes you feel a hell of a lot better about yourself and the choices you've made! The three of us watched in horror obviously.

This morning I lounged around in bed for an embarrassingly long time, then just hung around and took in the dogs' craziness for the afternoon. Carra got home around 4PM and we made a little dinner, watched another episode of "Secretly Pregnant," and bitched about politics. Just the same old stuff for us!

Then we went out to the movies to see Pitch Perfect - Alex and Carra had already seen it but were super excited to watch it for the second time. I have to say, I knew I would like it, but it was reallllllly funny. And the mash-ups were awesome. And it's Anna Kendrick and Brittany Snow so how could I not like it?

After stopping at WalMart we came home and Skyped with Soo! The three of us used to get into so many crazy shenanigans at boarding school, and we quickly fell into the same roles we had four years ago. It's unbelievable to me that it's been so long since we've all been together in one place. It's times like these that I really appreciate how much I've grown and changed over the last few years. Because we may act the same when we get together now but we've all grown up a lot too.

Tomorrow we're driving to Charlotte where I'm gonna have to say goodbye and hop a bus to Atlanta. I'm so beyond excited to head down to Georgia and spend the week with my cousin and her girlfriend, but it sucks to say goodbye to someone as soon as you've gotten back to how you used to be together. We've changed, we've grown, and we've made mistakes, but there's something so special about your best friends from when you were seventeen years old. You find your way back to each other and you never want to drift apart again.
