It was perfect weather out today, which made it easy to walk a lot around campus. We made our way over to the Institute of Contemporary Art, where we attempted to be cultured. In reality we just hung out on a hammock in the museum, after making sure that it wasn't part of the exhibit first!
Then we walked back to the apartment where we collapsed on the bed and watched Dawson's on Instant. After a couple of episodes and dinner at home we ventured out to the movies where we saw The Perks of Being a Wallflower. SUCH a good movie! Definitely everything I wanted it to be after reading the book. Oh, and on our way to the theater we just so happened to drive past the Liberty Bell! Check!
After Perks we met a group of Carrie's friends from grad school at a bar for one of their birthdays. We hung out for a bit and then moved on to "go dancing" which ended up translating to us going to some crazy bar/club that made you feel like you were at a house party in the early nineties in the suburbs. It was hipster paradise and the people watching was incredible.
Time for bed now. It was a busy but really fun day and I'm glad I got to see a lot of different parts of the city. I'm only on my second city though and already I find myself forgetting where I am every once in a while... Uh oh!
